KEEPING UP WITH CURRENT EVENTS

This is how I found Morgan after we returned form the park. She climbed up in the chair, grabbed the latest issue of People mag & just sat in the chair engrossed in it. It was so funny. This child just loves any type of book, magazine, flyer, etc.... I think she will be a big reader like her Dad-dee. Gran told us Dad-dee would read anything he could get his hands on when he was a boy, cereal boxes, tissue boxes...

I went to my sissy, Sydney's 4 month check-up and Mommy wanted to get my height & weight too. At my 2 year check-up, my doc said he would be happy to see a 2 lb gain in the next year (he said little ones gain weight slower from ages 2-3). Well, I am now 2 1/2 yrs old & I have actually gained 3 1/4 lbs already and grew 2 inches. And this is primarily all on veggies (love them), soy milk, eggs, Kefir and oh yea, lots & lots of Mommy's delicious salsa. Who knew?

Height: 35 "

Weight: 27 lbs

Final Days of Summer

Rub a dub dub...we're soaking in our tub. What? I wasn't going to do anything...really! hee hee I'll just rinse Sydney off, ok?

See my kitty, Willow? I love all my kitties.
Here is Morgan with her friend Rylee. She is so nice to Morgan...like a big sister. This was one of our last, nice summer days & Morgan just had a blast with Rylee.
Here they were rolling in the grass. Rylee was teaching Morgan to bug hunt.
Still bug hunting. Morgan is a very attentive learner.

Real raspberry popsicles....gotta love them. What a lovely mess!

HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT!

We have a new playground that just opened up & they have a great toddler playground for ages 2-5. The only problem is they have these tiny little steps off to the side of the main platform to get up on the equipment. Who built this thing? They must have had a blindfold on when constructing it. Anyway, our precious princess successfully climbed it all by herself today. No easy feat I tell ya. I even had to watch my balance when climbing up. I was soooooooo proud of her. We have been working on it for about week now.
