A SPECIAL GIRL!

Dear Friends & Family,

My friend Mary Grace is in the hospital in critical condition. She is only 18 months old. Please, take a moment and think of her. If you pray, please say a special prayer for Mary Grace. Her parents are lovely people who are going through the most difficult time of their lives. Thank you very much. Anything positive sent her way can only help.

This is one of my favorite things.....

I love, love, love bath time. Shhhhhhhh! I can't luxuriate with all the noise. A princess needs quiet! hee hee
Hi Mommy! How'd you get in there? I especially love to get Dad-dee all wet!!
We both need towels when I'm finished.

Look...10 teeth now! Woo hoo! And, not a single tear...I'm a big girl! Just a bit of drooling and a lot of chewing on my hand.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD-DEE!

A TRIBUTE TO MY DAD-DEE! We have done so much together this past year. Thank you for always being there for me. Mommy always tells me I am so lucky to have parents who are both very involved in my growing up. I am where I am because I have you for my Dad-dee!
I LOVE YOU DAD-DEE!!!!!

The very beginning.......from day one I felt your love with your butterfly kisses!

You took me to the zoo when I was only 3 months old to see my first tiger. Grrrrr!!!

You always try to stay home to do your work so you can be with me.

You taught me the love of books!
You never skimp on the hugs!

You always give me cuddle time.

More cuddles! You seem to have the magic touch to put me to sleep. Mommy says it is because you are an inferno & I love the warmth.

Now, I give you buttefly kisses.

We still read books together.

You go to all my social functions (birthday parties).

You took me to Florida and showed me the beach for the first time. We played & played and then we played some more.

"YOU RAISE ME UP TO MORE THAN I CAN BE!"

You are 'MY' Dad-Dee. I know I was chosen for you & you were chosen for me! We go together like peas & carrots. Thank you for everything you do and most of all, loving me. How lucky can one little girl be?

HI-HO SILVER!!!

When I was in Florida my Auntie Dee- Dee took these pictures of me when Mommy was with Grammy. We surprised Mommy! I had a lot of fun as you can see. My Auntie Dee-Dee is a great photographer and she said I was a great model. A bit of a ham too. She did not get a chance to crop them so if you look closely in the bottom left hand corner you can see the tail of my favorite doggy, Yogi The Wonder Mutt ( Mommy gave Yogi this title). He is a Bishon & is a lot of fun. I don't think my 4 kitties would like it if I brought a puppy home. Oh well.

MISSING FLORIDA

I'm back from Florida. My hair is blonde & I have a tan. Woo hoo!! Here are more photos of my trip.

Mommy taught me how to go under water. I did a great job! She says I will learn to be a great swimmer. Mommy & her siblings grew up on the swim team. So, I guess it is inevitable. I love the water.

Yup, it's all about me!!! Hee hee

Here I am with Auntie Dee Dee (Mommy's big sister). We are wating for our table at the Tea Room. It is my first 'official' tea party.
Hmmmm. Yes, I have a mouth full of English tea. But, my favorite was the scottish pie and chicken & leek pie. YUMMY!!!

So mush excitement for a little girl. My cousin Samantha (Aunite Dee-Dee's daughter) took very good care of me. I miss them all very much.

OFFICIAL FIRST WORD???

Ok, I had this discussion with my sister about 'first words'. I consider Morgan's first word the one which she 'knows' what she is saying-MAMA. My sister says it is just the first word she says whether she knows what she is saying or not. Hmmm...in that case Morgan has been saying 'HI' for months and other 'words'. I just considered these sounds, not words....So, when parents talk about their child's first word what are they really talking about? What are your thoughts?
