Look at me & 3 Generations!

Here are some more pictures of me & Grammy before she went home to Florida. She makes me laugh. I forgot to tell ya Grammy made me a bean bag which is helping me to learn to sit up. It is great! It makes it easier for me to hold & play with my toys.

Here we are, 3 generations. Me , Mommy & Grammy. I was a little distracted during the photo.

Here I am at tummy time. I have been practicing real hard at holding my head up. I can do it for a good 5 minutes now or until I roll over. hee hee. I saw my cardiologist yesterday and he says my PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus ) is all better. YEAH! Boy, was Mommy relieved (guess that's why she was crying...silly Mommy). I still have a tiny, tiny hole in another part of my heart but he says it is nothing to be concerned about. It should close on its own. He doesn't want to see me until I am 1 yrs. old. YEAH! I told Mommy & Daddy I would be just fine.

The weather has been beautiful. Mommy & I go for walks every day. I really like it. I play with my toys or just look around. I might even be getting a tan (well I could be a lot more golden if Mommy would just take the visor off my stroller...oh well). I am still sleeping through the night (in bed by 8pm & up at 6am). I stay pretty busy during the day (in between my naps). Well, that's a day in the life of little ole' me, Morgan. Everyone have a wonderful 4th of July. Mommy has a "special' outfit for me. Oh no! Im sure she'll post pictures. Well, come on did any of you expect any less??? This is Mommy we are talking about. hee hee! Speaking of Mommy......here she comes to kiss all over me again. Big hugs & kisses!!! Bye Bye!

I Love My Grammy!

My Grandma (Mommy's Mom) came back! She has been here for 2 1/2 weeks and we have been having such fun! She was there for my birth and came back to see me again and help out (Daddy was supposed to be on a trip to Spain but it cancelled). Grammy is teaching me so much. I am learning to sit up. I love to grab things and shake them..hard. We have been reading together. I touch the objects in my electronic books & make them talk. She made me a bean bag to help me sit. I love it. She got me a piano...Im thinking concert pianist? Hmmmm. Anyway, I have been having so much fun. I am learning many new things and changing a lot. It won't be long before Im really moving. hee hee Im already scooting across the floor on my back. Watch out Mommy & Daddy! Well, enjoy the photos. Until next time......

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF ME!

From bath to bed, my days are packed with adventure. Here I am at 11 weeks playing with Tad (my Leapfrog), my Leap Catepillar (see my arm through the ring), and Lilly (my hanging frog).. I have tummy time and practice my rollovers. I am working on sitting up in my Bumbo chair. Then, it's off to my tub for a nice warm bath. Ok, Mommy, enough with the flash! Bright Light! Here I am in my bunny towel. Yea, I am sucking my thumb. I'm a baby, it's my perogative! Plus, it makes my Grandma and Gran happy (they hate pacifiers). Hee hee. And then, off to dreamland. Nighty-night.

Going to a better place...

Daddy wanted me to write another tribute to Logan with him, so here goes...

Today, we say goodbye to our beloved cat Logan, who was 14 1/2 years old. Daddy says he'll get all of his teeth back when he gets to heaven, and he'll have all the food he can eat and all the treats he wants. He'll also get to see Sebastyn, Miss Emily, and Princess. Logan was the sweetest cat we have ever known. When we would bring new kitties in, Logan would be the first to welcome them home. We will sorely miss seeing that tongue of his hanging out (Michael Jordan/Gene Simmons imitator!).

You are in a better place now Logan. We love you and miss you.

Goodbye Sweet Logan

Today we laid our sweet Blue Persian, Logie-bear, to rest. Logan was the first of our "rescue kitties" we have adopted. We have since adopted 4 more. He was approx. 7 years old when we got him on July 14, 1999. 14 years is a long life for a pure breed. He was such a sweet kitty. He had big orange eyes & a tongue which always hung out. It was so funny. Mommy & Daddy knew he was beginning to show his age so they asked him to hold on until my arrival so I could meet him. I loved my Logie-bear! We will all miss him very much. He is now on the Rainbow Bridge.
RAINBOW BRIDGE POEM.....
JUST THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN IS A PLACE CALLED RAINBOW BRIDGE. WHEN AN ANIMAL DIES THAT HAS BEEN ESPECIALLY CLOSE TO SOMEONE HERE, THAT PET GOES TO RAINBOW BRIDGE. THERE ARE MEADOWS AND HILLS FOR ALL OF OUR SPECIAL FRIENDS SO THEY CAN RUN AND PLAY TOGETHER. THERE IS PLENTY OF FOOD AND WATER AND SUNSHINE, AND OUR FRIENDS ARE WARM AND COMFORTABLE. ALL THE ANIMALS WHO HAD BEEN ILL AND OLD ARE RESTORED TO HEALTH AND VIGOR, THOSE WHO WERE HURT OR MAIMED ARE MADE WHOLE AND STRONG AGAIN, JUST AS WE REMEMBER THEM IN OUR DREAMS OF DAYS GONE BY. THE ANIMALS ARE HAPPY AND CONTENT, EXCEPT FOR ONE SMALL THING. THEY MISS SOMEONE VERY SPECIAL TO THEM WHO HAD TO BE LEFT BEHIND. THEY ALL RUN AND PLAY TOGETHER, BUT THE DAY COMES WHEN ONE SUDDENLY STOPS AND LOOKS INTO THE DISTANCE. THE BRIGHT EYES ARE INTENT, THE EAGER BODY QUIVERS. SUDDENLY HE BEGINS TO BREAK AWAY FROM THE GROUP, FLYING OVER THE GREEN GRASS, HIS LEGS CARRYING HIM FASTER AND FASTER. YOU HAVE BEEN SPOTTED AND WHEN YOU AND YOUR SPECIAL FRIEND FINALLY MEET, YOU CLING TOGETHER IN JOYOUS REUNION, NEVER TO BE PARTED AGAIN. THE HAPPY KISSES RAIN UPON YOUR FACE, YOUR HANDS AGAIN CARESS HIS BELOVED HEAD AND YOU LOOK ONCE MORE INTO THE TRUSTING EYES OF YOUR PET, SO LONG GONE FROM YOUR LIFE BUT NEVER ABSENT FROM YOUR HEART. THEN YOU PASS OVER RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER.....................................
Goodbey Sweet Logan- You will always be remembered!

Gran To The Rescue!!!

Hello Everyone! Well, it has been a very busy 2 weeks for me. My Gran (Daddy's Mommy) came to meet me for the first time...all the way from NJ. I love her! We have been having a great time together. It has given Mommy & Daddy some time together. They even went to see Cirque du Soleil's Verikai. Without me! Can you believe that? Oh well, when I am bigger I'll go EVERYWHERE with them. There will be no escape. hee hee! Daddy has been very busy with his new job. But, he does spend very good quality time with me. He has been giving me my baths every night and sings me silly songs (I'm pretty sure he makes most of them up, but I like it). I do have one request...Can we discuss the current sleeping arrangements? I'm not sure this is working for me. Ha ha!
Oh! And my recent accomplishment...You know I have been rolling over (tummy to back) since I was 2 weeks old. Well, I just rolled from my back to my tummy!!! Pretty neat, huh? Won't be long until I'm off & roaming!!! Anyway, here are some recent pictures! Enjoy! Kisses!
